to my future husband:

i pray for you daily. i pray that you’re doing good. and that God is blessing you. I pray that you are successful in everything you do. i pray that life is full of many blessings and trials. i pray that you’re strong. i pray that you prosper. i pray that you understand to love the way Jesus loved. 

whoever you are, you’re already perfect in my eyes. because God’s made a perfect relationship with perfect timing. you’re already beautiful to me. you’re gonna love Jesus with such a passion that I may not even be able to understand. you’re gonna show me love in a way ive never seen love before. you’re gonna put the pieces of my broken heart back together. you’re gonna completely give yourself away to Jesus, and let me be a small part of that life. you’re gonna be funny, cause God knows i sure love a good laugh. you’re gonna be able to put up with me and the stupid things i do. hopefully youll laugh with me and even at me. you’re gonna find beauty in the childish things i do. you’re gonna make me smile. not smile because i have to. but smile because i will genuinely be happy with you and with who i am with i am with you. 

i seriously almost shed tears thinking about this happiness that i dont quite understand yet. you’ll teach me to love unconditionally like Jesus loves me. you’ll love me for who i am. youll be attracted to who i am instead of sexually attracted to me. youll want to win my heart and my love. you’ll value my morals. youll support me with the career i go into. youll travel the world with me. 

youll forgive me for the things of my past. youll forgive me for placing things of this world before Jesus. youll not judge me for my past, but instead love me for how far ive come. youll know everything and anything about me and choose to love me anyways. hopefully youll be pure and clean. 

youll be beautiful. just like ive always dreamed. tall. dark. handsome. and with a nice beard :) youll be a gentleman with southern charm. 

but most importantly youll be mine, no one elses. and what a beautiful marriage it will be. 

i cannot wait to meet you, fall in love with you, and grow old with you. 

but for now, happy valentines day, wherever you may be.
